Met up with my PwC besties to celebrate Lu Hao's bday last Sat.... Decided on dim sum @ Imperial Treasure in Taka following Vivi's recommendation.....

With Bao Bao and my half eaten custard bun which is absolutely delicious except for the fact that it's v filling.... haa~

After the brief lunch we went TCC for a round of drinks and nua-ing session!
We had the honour of seeing Luhao's diamond ring~! Coincidentally he went to collect the ring that day.... *wowed* =)

Met up with my fav M1 for dnr and wanted to dine at Menotti @ Raffles City under Xiao Men's recommendation. Upon reaching, realise that it's closed for renovation!!! T.T
Was really devastated coz I was wearing impossible (to walk with) shoes.... not wanting to walk further, just settled at this restaurant in Raffles City: Prego

Turns out to be a really good choice! =d
The restaurant serves bread for starter so actually there's no need to order the anti pasti... But we didn't know so ordered a bruschett (however it is spelt, basically is just garlic bread topped with tomato and cheese) which is pretty good.... love the cheese =)

I chose the risotto which is simply yummy!! *slurps*
Found it pretty amusing that the waiter will bring a shredder and shred the cheese in front of us when we asked for cheese to be sprinkled onto our meal.... hahaha

Ended the meal with a mudpie (forgot how it was called in the menu) which is good too...
Was too full to try the tiramisu which Xiao Men said is heavenly!

Anw it's really thumbs up for the service... the waiter brought a wrong pasta for my M1 and they compensated by making the dessert complimentary! We didn't even make any noise....

Definitely a must-go again!! ^^

Met up with my besties at work on Fri (yessss, it's that much of a coincidence that all of us were on leave) and embarked on our 2nd overseas trip.... only this time we just crossed the Causeway =x A pity Bao Bao couldn't join us.... Seems like she always has no fate of joining us on our overseas trip.... booboo~

Our 1st stop after clearing the custom: Redbox @ Jusco
We were charged the student rate i.e. RM10 per pax with lunch and drink included!
Better than Teo Heng! =P
The service was pretty good too with friendly staff...

I love the 3 mics equipped in the room and the songs were pretty new! =D
Don't understand why SG only has 2 mics.... *pouts*

We walked around Jusco after the KTV session but there was pretty nothing much to buy with prices comparable to SG... My only 收获 for the day: Baskin Robbins! hahaha Haven't eaten it since my last Genting trip ages ago.... =D

After that was high tea @ 顺发肉骨茶

An unconventional choice for high tea indeed but the soup was pretty good and according to CCS the jasmine tea is good too (judging by the fact that he drank 1 whole pot of it =x)
We also ordered pig trotters which was tender...

Time to exercise a lil after eating so much!

Bowling costs bout RM5 per game if my memory didn't fail me @ Holiday Plaza
According to CCS, it's the oldest shopping centre in JB so he is also bringing us on a historic tour lolx
I seriously needa brush up on my bowling skills coz the guys pawned us despite giving us 200 points handicap! =(

Tried our hands on the popular 投篮机 and got hooked to it! Make us sweat after a few rounds... lolx Only cost RM1 per game.... Wheeeeee~

All of us decided that it's time for dinner after perspiring and proceeded to this recommended place by CCS for seafood feast! It was outside JB, at a place call Perling and super hard to locate.... we almost gave up coz CCS cldn't exactly rem how to get there. Just as we're prepared to go for steamboat instead we made a left turn by chance and we're on our way to A Lam Seafood Restoran! hahaha~

All the seafood are really fresh and the coconuts are exceptionally sweet (the lady boss told us that the coconuts were from Thailand, but we don't rem the 1 in BKK was that good, maybe it's true that all the best fruits are exported)

The drive out of the place was scary as it's not lit by streetlamps... Well it was a rare chance for CCS to use his high beam haha.... The ground was super uneven with potholes everywhere O.O

A very big THANK YOU to CCS for being our Ahmad Ali that day despite the fuel hike =D

Met up with my fav M1 yst and had a sumptuous lunch at......

Chose to dine at Min Jiang which is known for its chinese food. Ordered a couple of dim sum but I thot CJ pawn it all! haha
But had the chance to try Shark's Bone soup O.O
Though it just taste like normal chicken soup.... lolx tasty nonetheless...
The Mee Sua is the most yummylicious of the day... =d

After that was desserts round! =D We gave the traditional Chinese dessert a miss and went for the famous Goodwood Park durians desserts.... The durian pudding and durian puff were nice in the sense that it's really rich with durian taste, like eating the fruit itself? lolx
I personally like the choco cakie with hazelnut (taste like kinder bueno tho =x)

Yst was also our movie day! And this time round it was Narnia!! Wheeeeee~ I was a lil overwhelmed when I heard my firm booked all 7 theaters of GV PS.... hahaha
Anw it was not as bad as what I heard from others... Prolly coz I nv watch part 1 so didn't have any expectations to start with? But as the movie started the roll I thot to myself: Gosh.... I really haven't watched an Eng film for ages. Oooooppppppsssss.....

On a sidenote, my fav phrase from King Peter: For Narnia!!!! =D

Glad that Bao Bao managed to make it to the movie and it was a nice catching up with my besties at work! ^^

Met up with 08 to celebrate XionG's Bday last Sat @ ParkwaY
Had a quick dinner at Ichiban Boshi before heading to our fav hangout in Katong
(Hint: Just look at the Yellow and Blue walls below lolx)

Anw just finished watching Liar Game, the top drama in Japan as claimed by my bro =x
Was totally addicted by the impressive story plot as the drama developed to unveil how the players pitch against each other in Liar Game Tournament. It always amazed me how ugly mankind can become.... succumbing to the temptation of greed. =(

Think I'm as dumb as the female lead too.... haa=I-d-i-o-t-i-c-a-l-l-y H-o-n-e-s-t=

On a side note, initially only find the female lead to be very cute!
By the end of it all, I was hooked to the male lead too. His brains totally win me over!
Evidence of me not being superficial kiez? =P

Interested parties can get the drama from miiiiiiii ^^

Also read finish this book called Tuesdays with Morrie and thot it was very good! Learnt quite a few things from there.... Interested parties can go Bedok Libby to borrow! They have quite a few copies there... Call Number starts with 378.1.... Level 2 =P
